Orthodontics
What can I do to straighten my teeth?
We offer Invisalign™ and Damon3 Braces We no longer offer traditional orthodontics utilizing bonded brackets and wires. These are commonly called braces, where over a period of months, the wires are changed and adjusted, gradually applying enough force to move the teeth.
We have achieved very good results with Invisalign™ and are able to decrease the number of visits for our patients to accomplish the desired results.
When should my child have their first orthodontic evaluation?
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that every child have an evaluation by 7 years of age. Often, corrective measures can be taken early in a child's oral development. While some patients require comprehensive orthodontics to improve the health and appearance of their smile, minor orthodontics, performed in less than six months, can often enhance a smile cosmetically.
24-hour Retainer Replacement
24 Hour Replacement Retainers
After orthodontic treatment (either bracket-and-wire braces or Invisalign) it is very important to wear retainers for the length of time prescribed by your dentist or orthodontist. In as little as 24 hours, teeth can begin to shift and, depending on how much they move, it may become difficult to regain the desired position without new orthodontic treatment.
If a retainer is lost or broken, replacing it as quickly as possible helps to preserve the position of your teeth.
We have the ability to replace or repair most types of retainers within 24 hours, helping your teeth remain in position.
Two visits are typically all it takes; one for the impression, and one for the delivery of your new appliance
